Fleeing from the New Order the remaining members of the rebellion, led by General Leia, find themselves trapped by an imperial cruiser. After escaping with notable losses they find themselves on the run from Kylo Ren. Meanwhile on Ahch-To Rey finds the Legendary Jedi Master Luke Skywalker in hopes to unlock the secrets to the Force. This is the setting for Episode VIII in the popular saga set in a galaxy far, far away.

There have been complaints of Episode VII The Force Awakens being a direct carbon copy of the original Episode IV A New Hope.  That is definitely not the case for The Last Jedi. Directed by Rian Johnson, This movie is a thrill ride from the very start.

Shortly After the initial battle the movie literally splits into three different directions ranging from Rey’s training, Leia’s Fleet running from Ren, and Finn and his partner on their mission. Everything then comes together to wrap up the story with a surprise in the end. As for humor within the feature, the jokes  abound throughout the story. Happily the jokes are not centered within a central comedy relief character. Rather the humor comes from the cast trying to make light of situations with little quirks and jabs at the situation. Luke especially as he now plays the role of an angry hermit being bothered by the eager student in Rey.

All things considered, Episode VIII does not disappoint and leaves the fans hopeful for an amazing conclusion i the future film. This movie is definitely not to be missed by fans.
