16 years after the events of Revenge of the Sith, The Empire has taken over the Galaxy. Construction of the Deathstar has come to completion. The Jedi have been all but eradicated and scattered throughout the galaxy.The Force has become a mysticism and a belief. Those that have resisted the empires control have formed the Rebel Alliance.
The rebellion has tasked Cassian Andor to find Galen Erso weapons developer for the empire and secure the plans to the Deathstar. At the same time Jyn Erso the daughter of Galen who was separated from her parents has been raised to be a soldier in the rebellion. as Jyn and Cassian cross paths they attempt to rescue her father and hopefully put an end to the Empires deadly weapon.
Rogue one takes place between episode 3 and pretty much kickstarts For those following the storyline thus far its easy to figure out the events that take place in Rogue One.  The action is fast paced and full throttle from beginning to end. There are numerous cameos and surprise appearances from characters throughout the Star Wars Universe. You’ll just have to keep your eyes open. As for those who enjoy a good space battle with X-wings and Tie Fighters. You are in for quite a treat. In short This movie was the perfect display of the Empires power as well as the Rebel Alliances determination.
