Awwww. I thought that this was going to be a good one.
Everyone has dysfunctional family issues. I liked that it was real. I loved the banter between Eleanor and Joe (but who seriously does that at an airport).
There are some comedic moments, but you know. Guess where Steve Martin falls in to this film?
There is some meaning behind it. You know, family is family. You don’t get to pick your family, but you try to compromise, somehow. You should live life to the fullest because you may not get a second chance.
John Goodman looks good. It’s been awhile since I have seen him on the screen.
I am not anti-holidays. I love it actually. I just wasn’t totally into this film.
However, go check it out if you want to. It’s a decent adult movie. I probably would go see Mockingjay Part 2 first, but that is my opinion.
I went high for the Christmas theme, because I like Christmas!!
