looking for a fun movie to watch with the kids i recommend Dreamworks  Mr. Peabody and Sherman. Mr. Peabody is a hyper intelligent dog that has brought world peace, created auto-tune, and plethora of other achievements. He now has taken on the challenge of raising a human boy, Sherman. The two roam through time in the Way Back, a time machine created by Mr. Peabody. After Sherman gets in to a tussle at school, Mr. Peabody will have to travel through time and space to keep Sherman with him.

Ty Burrell voices the pooch with a penchant for puns, Mr. Peabody. He breathes life in to Peabody masterfully as he is point on with his voice acting. Stephen Colbert plays the father of Sherman’s rival, Penny. He’s actually pretty funny as one would expect. The cast actually does a great job overall. There’s even a brief cameo by Mel Brooks as Albert Einstein. The jokes are varied as they cater to those young and old. The original audience of the 1959 Rocky and Bullwinkle series that featured Mr. Peabody will recognize some call back moments to the original source material (specifically the puns). There are plenty of butt jokes for the kids but sprinkles of things that only adults would get and believe me they’re hilarious sprinkles.

End of the day, this is a family film that will please all who watch it. It has enough shout outs to the past series for older members of the audience to remember. There’s also new jokes for for the younger crowd that should keep their attention.I loved it and so will your family.
