Exclusive Merchandise Debuts on the Convention Floor
Fans eager to take home a piece of the Lucas Museum won’t have to wait until September.
From Wednesday, July 22 through Sunday, July 26, the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art will host a booth on the Comic-Con exhibition floor, conveniently located near one of the convention’s main entrances at Booth #2913-G.
The booth will debut an all-new line of collectible merchandise available for the very first time, giving attendees an opportunity to own exclusive items before the museum officially opens.
For collectors and George Lucas fans alike, it’s likely to become an essential stop during the convention.
A Museum Dedicated to the Power of Storytelling
Co-founded by George Lucas and Mellody Hobson, the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art is dedicated to celebrating humanity’s oldest and most universal tradition—telling stories through images.
The museum’s collection spans thousands of years of artistic expression, from prehistoric cave paintings to contemporary comics, illustrations, animation, photography, paintings, and cinematic artwork. Its mission is to explore how visual storytelling shapes cultures, inspires imagination, preserves history, and builds community across generations.
Rather than focusing on a single artistic medium, the museum embraces every form of narrative art, recognizing the shared language of storytelling that connects people around the world.
An Architectural Landmark in Los Angeles
Located in Exposition Park in Los Angeles, the Lucas Museum occupies an impressive 300,000-square-foot building designed by internationally acclaimed architect Ma Yansong of MAD Architects, in collaboration with Stantec.
The museum’s futuristic architecture is designed to evoke wonder and imagination while serving as a physical representation of the emotional impact of narrative art.
Surrounding the building is an expansive 11-acre campus featuring landscaped park space created by Mia Lehrer of Studio-MLA. Designed as both a public gathering place and an outdoor educational resource, the campus extends the museum’s mission beyond its walls, creating opportunities for community engagement, learning, and creative exploration.
A Must-See Destination at Comic-Con
Comic-Con has long celebrated the worlds of comics, film, television, gaming, and pop culture, making it the perfect place for the Lucas Museum to offer fans an early glimpse of what awaits when it officially opens this fall.
Between the star-studded Hall H presentation and exclusive merchandise debut, attendees will have multiple opportunities to experience the museum’s vision months before opening day.
For anyone passionate about comics, concept art, animation, filmmaking, or the enduring power of storytelling, the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art is poised to become one of the most exciting new cultural institutions in the world.
The museum officially opens in Los Angeles on September 22, 2026, but Comic-Con attendees will get the very first chapter of that story this July.
