The hit web comedy series HIGH MAINTENANCE is coming to HBO with six new episodes, it was announced today by Michael Lombardo, president, HBO Programming. Following a Brooklyn pot dealer who delivers to clients with neuroses as diverse as the city, the show is created and written by the married duo of Katja Blichfeld (Emmy®-winning casting director of “30 Rock”) and Ben Sinclair (“Sisters” and “Big C”), and executive produced by Katja Blichfeld, Russell Gregory and Ben Sinclair.

“HIGH MAINTENANCE has proven to be one of today’s most highly-acclaimed online comedies,” noted Lombardo. “We are thrilled to bring this sophisticated and clever series to our HBO audience.”

“We have been growing this show organically for three years now, and we are elated to bring it into full maturity at HBO, the gold-standard of both online and televised entertainment,” said Blichfeld and Sinclair.

HIGH MAINTENANCE stars Ben Sinclair as “The Guy,” a friendly pot dealer whose clients include an eccentric group of characters, revealing the dynamics of their lives. From the unexpected and offbeat to the predictable and mundane, the witty series provides a glimpse into the daily routines of the customers and how they light things up.

The web series earned Blichfeld and Sinclair a WGA award for their episode “Rachel” and has been hailed as “wryly funny” by Entertainment Weekly, “fantastic and gemlike” by Time and “luxurious and twisty and humane” by the New Yorker. Featuring a wide array of New York artists from theater, TV and film, previous guests on the show have included Hannibal Buress (“Broad City”) and Dan Stevens (“Downton Abbey”).

In addition to presenting new episodes, HBO will also make the previous 19 episodes, which originally debuted on Vimeo, available later this year on HBO, HBO NOW and HBO GO.

HIGH MAINTENANCE is produced by Janky Clown Productions; executive produced by Katja Blichfeld, Russell Gregory and Ben Sinclair; directed by Katja Blichfeld and Ben Sinclair; cast by Katja Blichfeld; edited by Ben Sinclair

Transformers Rise Of The Beast will definitely be a movie I’m going to watch repeatedly.

This was an epic movie overall. What else can I say without giving spoilers? Not a lot else, unfortunately, but I will try. So the start was interesting as it takes place in 1994, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts takes the audience on a globetrotting adventure with the Autobots and introduces a whole new faction of Transformers – the Maximals –  to join them as allies in the existing battle for Earth. There are quite a few hidden gems to look for. The humor in this one was excellent definitely the 90s were everywhere in this movie.

The action was awesome as a Transformers movie should be and it does have a decent storyline. The film also has Great references to the older Transformer properties as well. As a major fan of the beast war series, it was awesome to see that version of the universe brought to the big screen. However, there were some moments of eh, been done many times. But just a couple despite being another Transformers movie. but this one did give more life to the series for me to be intrigued to see where it goes. The movie is a good 2 hours long so it goes at a good pace.

But with that being the only bad thing, in my opinion, it is a great theater movie. I think it added some freshness to the franchise. That with a nice blend of the 90s nostalgia. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. This is Chris, an honest review writer until the next movie, see you next time.
