Crunchyroll Launches First-Ever Two-Day Anime Music Festival at San Diego Comic-Con 2025
The ultimate anime music celebration is back and leveling up! Crunchyroll® has officially announced the return of its wildly popular Anime FanFest, now expanded to two full days of anime-inspired live music, exclusive activations, and immersive fan experiences at San Diego Comic-Con 2025. Even better? It’s completely free and open to everyone—no Comic-Con badge required.
Taking place Friday, July 25 and Saturday, July 26 at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park, just steps behind the San Diego Convention Center, this once-in-a-lifetime anime music festival promises to deliver unforgettable performances from a global roster of artists inspired by anime’s sonic spirit.
“Music is such a big part of watching anime. It sets the tone, bookends episodes and stays in our heads and hearts forever,” said Gita Rebbapragada, Chief Operating Officer of Crunchyroll. “This year, we are going to San Diego Comic-Con with a tremendous festival experience to celebrate the music anime fans know and love.”

Friday, July 25 will spotlight the influence of Japan’s music scene, seamlessly blended with global, anime-inspired sounds. Headliners include:
