Star Wars Gets The Anime Treatment in Visions

We’ve seen fan portrayals of the Star Wars Universe drawn in the Anime style but nothing was really official. Lucasfilm just announced Visions; a new compilation of Star Wars short stories being produced by Japan’s popular studios.

So far these were the participating production companies:

• Kamikaze Douga – The Duel
• Geno Studio (Twin Engine) – Lop and Ochō
• Studio Colorido (Twin Engine) – Tatooine Rhapsody
• Trigger – The Twins
• Trigger – The Elder
• Kinema Citrus – The Village Bride
• Science Saru – Akakiri
• Science Saru – T0-B1
• Production IG – The Ninth Jedi

Star Wars Visions premieres September 22nd 2021 on Disney Plus.
