Funko Reveals Big Plans for San Diego Comic-Con 2026 with Exclusives, Interactive Booth Experiences, and Online Access

Funko is heading back to San Diego Comic-Con 2026 with another massive celebration of pop culture, bringing an impressive lineup of convention-exclusive collectibles, immersive fan experiences, and new merchandise from Loungefly and Mondo.

Taking place July 22-26 at the San Diego Convention Center, this year’s convention promises to be one of Funko’s biggest yet, with the company once again making Booth #5341 a must-visit destination for collectors and fans alike.

Exclusive Collectibles and Fan Experiences

Funko has confirmed that attendees can expect an extensive selection of highly anticipated SDCC-exclusive collectibles, including several show-only releases that won’t be available anywhere else during the convention.

Joining Funko at the booth will be Loungefly, whose convention exclusives will once again be available for purchase at the Funko booth, while Mondo will showcase its newest premium collectibles and artwork from nearby Booth #5137.

Although some convention exclusives will eventually be offered online and through select retail partners, many of the most sought-after releases will debut first at Comic-Con.

The company also teased that its full lineup of SDCC exclusive product reveals will be announced soon, encouraging fans to follow Funko, Loungefly, and Mondo across social media for upcoming announcements.

How to Visit the Funko Booth

As in previous years, entry into the Funko booth will be managed through the San Diego Comic-Con Exclusives Portal.

Badge holders were able to begin registering for a chance to receive a booth shopping reservation on Tuesday, July 7, with the application window remaining open until Thursday, July 16.

Following the portal’s close, selected attendees will receive a randomly assigned shopping time slot, giving them access to purchase convention-exclusive merchandise.

Fans who aren’t selected through the lottery still have a chance to visit. After the final reservation session each day, the booth will open to walk-up guests, although entry and product availability will depend on capacity and remaining inventory.

Funko also reminded attendees that receiving a booth reservation does not guarantee access to every exclusive item. All products will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

Online Shopping Returns with New Pre-Authorization System

Fans unable to attend Comic-Con won’t have to miss out entirely.

Select SDCC 2026 exclusives will once again be available through Funko.com, but this year’s online purchasing process introduces a credit card pre-authorization drawing system designed to provide a fairer opportunity to purchase high-demand items.

Beginning Monday, July 20, collectors can submit pre-authorized purchase entries for eligible convention exclusives.

Once the entry period closes, winners will be randomly selected, and their pre-authorized payment methods will automatically be charged for the items they’ve been selected to purchase.

After the drawing concludes, any remaining inventory will become available on July 24, giving collectors one final opportunity to purchase available exclusives online before they sell out.

Fan Rewards Members Receive an Advantage

Funko is also giving its loyal customers an added benefit.

Members of the company’s Fan Rewards program can redeem points to receive an additional drawing entry for each eligible pre-authorization purchase, increasing their chances of securing some of the convention’s hottest collectibles.

The free loyalty program continues to be one of the easiest ways for collectors to improve their odds during major convention releases.
