SLLACC: Fans Get First Look at Stargate: Origins at LA Comic Con

Fans who attended the 2017 Los Angeles Comic Convention this morning were treated to a special first look at the long awaited Stargate: Origins, the first Stargate TV show in quite some time.

Though not that much information was given away in the trailer, which can be seen above, long time fans can get a feel for the tone and style of the show all of which seem to be done by people with a love for the mythology. Rather than propel the series further than the still open ended cliffhanger of Stargate: Universe the show instead travels back to the 30s and 40s just after the discovery of the gate.

From a storytelling standpoint this leaves a ton of room to move and might be the kick in the arm the fandom needs to jumpstart a whole new generation of fans.
