Cole Escola Cast as Bon Clay in One Piece Season 3 at Netflix
Netflix has officially announced that Tony Award–winning performer Cole Escola (they/them)—known for their standout work in Oh Mary!, Search Party, and At Home with Amy Sedaris—has joined the cast of One Piece Season 3. Escola will portray Bon Clay, a beloved and highly anticipated character from Eiichiro Oda’s globally celebrated franchise.
Production on Season 3 is slated to begin later this year in Cape Town, South Africa.
A Fan-Favorite Character Joins the Live-Action World. Bon Clay is described as a dazzling yet dangerous force—a theatrical assassin whose blend of artistry and combat has made the character a standout in the One Piece universe. Escola’s casting brings a Tony-winning level of performance to the role, marking one of the most exciting additions to the live-action series yet.
