Okay Aca-Lovers!!!! Who is excited to see Pitch Perfect 2? This Girl!! OH…wait. I did, that is why I am writing this review, for you.
First, you better have already seen the first Pitch Perfect before you go and see this. Second, I hate to say, but you gotta leave the under 13 year old kiddos at home. Actually, you should not take anyone under age 15. There are SO MANY innuendos in this one, it’s just not appropriate for the young minds (that have not gone through US or European History).
Like, don’t take your 9 year old daughter. It may pass over her head, but you’ll be questioned when she ponders. Save yourself the headache.
Now, back to my review.
So, the first five -ten minutes is just crazy and super busy. I mean, why wouldn’t it be (the first innuendos happen here).
If you are easily offended, you probably should not watch the movie.
The Treble Makers – Uhm, I am not sure what happened there. Listen to there song 🙂
Here’s what I love – Jessie J. She’s definitely a “tall drink of water”. There are some great cameos in the film. I love Keegan-Michael Key and his “Divaness”. Maybe typical of a music producer (I have no idea), but he was pretty funny.
You’ll see the bond between the Bellas get stronger. The hottie from the German team, oy ve! Nevermind, you’ll see.
I know you have seen the trailers, but you have got to love Rebel Wilson this time. The interlude between her and Bumper is hilarious. Remember, Bumper is special.
I think the music mashups that Becca creates is pretty neat, but I actually like the last, maybe 45 minutes of the movie.
Okay…I loved the movie, but 45 minutes to the end of the movie is pretty awesome.
Think about the Dragon. I’m going to leave that right there. You’ll get the reference when you watch it. GO!
Just know if you take your preteen daughter, you were forewarned.
