Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” opens in 1926 as Newt Scamander has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident…were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.
Personally for me it felt like the story feel a little short. There were however a few things I liked. Colin Farrell’s portrayal of Percival Graves was great mellow but fierce. There is a nice twist that i personally did not see that coming. Oh and the creatures were FANTASTIC haha see what i did there i mad a pun. any how i all the film was enjoyable but it mist a few marks i would say go see it at the matinee price.
